Summary

Sydney Bristow is a young, athletic, college graduate who was recruited her freshman year as a secret agent for SD-6, a top-secret branch of the CIA. After a few years -- after Sydney confides her lifestyle to her boyfriend, the evil head of SD-6 -- Arvin Sloan, has him killed. Sydney learns that SD-6 is part of a rogue international agency called the Alliance of 12, out to rule the world. She becomes a double agent, working with the real CIA to bring down SD-6 with the assistance of her handler, Michael Vaughn, and her estranged father Jack Bristow -- also a double agent. Along the way, Sydney fights various rival agents, rival terrorist groups, and traitors all the while keeping her cloak-and-dagger lifestyle a secret from her friends....

Exciting! Great entertainment!

"I was a big fan of Alias. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to see all of the episodes because of the hour it came on the air. I had to go to work the next day. So, I decided to buy all of the episodes. Wow! Great writing, and great acting. Watching the DVDs reminded me how much I enjoyed watching the Bristols, Arvin Sloane, Marshall, Weiss, Dixon and the handsome Michael Vaughn. The second season is filled with mystery as Syd's mom Irina turns herself in to the CIA. Each episode is more exciting, and gripping than the previous one.You will find yourself cheering for Sydney-out loud. Alias is a must buy."

This is the best season ...

"This is the best season of this great show. Don't get me wrong season 1 had it's moments and follows this season as the next in line but when season 2 showed up something fantastic happened. With the exception of one flashback episode and the last two stupid show and character ruining minutes of the season finale I have nothing but great things to say about this show."

"I use to watch this show when it was on ABC and absolutely LOVED it. A action-thrill ride full of style, wit, sex appeal, and lots of guns and wigs. I will warn you though...that if your going to start watching the series...be sure to have some time on your hands. Almost every episode ends with a cliffhanger, which of course means you have to find out what happens next. If love secret spy action with alot of sass and great thrills...you will love ALIAS. A must buy!"

"Certainly the action will strike you in the face in this First Season DVD set. After that, you will find yourself drawn into the story which has something for everyone, dysfunctional family, secrets, lies, intrigue, truly evil guys. Add to this some well done commentary. Lastly, my favorite part, the ScriptScanner. This feature appears both on the Pilot of Lost and Alias, it allows you to view the Script as you view the film. "I never got a chance to watch this when it first aired, so this is my first time viewing the series. The first season is awesome - way better than most show's first seasons. And I love that you can fast forward through the theme song and beginning portions easily. Great series."
