Brilliant, but socially inept, forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperence Brennan works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington DC. After consulting for him on a FBI case, she is approached by cocky yet charming ex-Army Ranger turned Special Agent, Seeley Booth to help the Bureau solve crimes by identifying human remains that are too far gone for standard FBI forensic investigations. Brennan's empirical, literal view of the world causes friction with Booths emotive, instinctive attitude creating a volatile relationship. However as their case load increases the symbiotic partnership produces results and with the support of Brennan's Squint Squad, murderers, past and present should be on the look out.

Great new show

"In a time when a lot of good shows were being cancelled or ending their long runs, along came Bones. I only started watching it because of David Boreanaz, but quickly fell in love with the CSI-ness of the show. I have gotten so many other people hooked on the show by lending out my DVD sets. If you like the crime solving show genre with a bit of character story thrown in, this show is for you. I only give Season 1 4 stars because I think they were overly redundant with things like stating that Booth was a sniper - and that was not done subtly. The DVD features on this set are nice - but be careful with the disks, they are 2-sided."

Can't go wrong with Bones!

"We hadn't watched Bones originally and started watching it in reruns on USA. We were hooked! The character development has been entertaining, but each episode can stand on its own. Not the best for very young children because of the gory factor, but excellent for older ones and adults."

I liked it.

"Granted, I'm a pretty big Bones fan. But, the total process time for me anyway was within a week, so I was pretty happy about that. Everything worked fine and there were no signs of damage and stuff. It was also a lot cheaper to buy-including shipping fees-than the other stores I researched....Yet another bonus. I would however warn those who are buying it to make sure that small children are not watching it with you, or people who get easily nauseated by the sight of blood and decay. This is a series meant to show how real-life forensics solve deaths and mysteries. Other than that, I'd totally go for it!!!!"

AMAZING SHOW!!!

"I never got into this show when it first come out on tv back in 2005, i love David Boreanaz back when he was on Angel and Buffy, but I couldn't see him in this role. I initially purchased this dvd set for a friend who was in love with show. I started watching season 2 and i got hooked, i had to buy season one for myself. Yes everytime i watched it i wanted david to go all grrr... like on angel but i feel in love with the chemistry between him and Emily Deschnal. Great show, can watch it all the time, i recommend it to anyone who loves the CSI's and Without a Trace Shows. U don't know what u are missing!!!"
