    I love this system. It's well worth the money. You get 3 months worth of workouts and recipes and a plan for maintenance. I am on week 3 and have lost 10 lbs and several inches. If you are serious about seeing better results than you've seen in the past, make sure you focus on the eating part of the plan. So many people only do the workouts and then wonder why they don't look like the people in the infomercial. Beachbody uses real customers in their infomercials, so the results are real, but you HAVE to do all aspects of the program. Otherwise, you'll tone up but your results won't be as amazing as what you've seen on TV. One other note is that you will need heavier weights than you may be used to - yes, even if you're a woman. Start with what you have and then consider investing in some additional weights or bands when you feel like the exercises have become easy. This program is for real and I love it!

    I have been an at-home exerciser for 15 years. My favorites were the Firm and especially FitPrime workouts ... I've never done a mapped-out program like this, but I am hooked! Chalene is the most inspirational DVD program instructor I've ever experienced. The work is HARD, if you follow it seriously, and it WILL absolutely CHANGE your body. I'm 50 and just started this program in late february - I'm still in the Push month - but I can't start my day without it. I have more energy, my body FEELS better, and today I had on a blouse that was form-fitting around the shoulders, and I could have sworn I had on light shoulder pads !!!! If you are serious about wanting to change your body and doing a program that will change your life, this is the program for you. Invest in the Bowflex dumbbells, you can easily change the weights you're using. I've become a HUGE advocate for women over 50 doing a program like this - there is NONE other like it and I am stronger, more compassionate, more deliberate in my work-decision making and ... this program just possibly is the best thing that ever happened to me - people will think you have hired a personal trainer. Want Michelle Obama's arms? This is the program that will do it, don't be fooled.

    "This DVD set is Horrible! I got rid of it after 3 weeks due to an Over-use Injury from the shoulder work. I partially tore my rotator cuff and pulled both a ligement and tendon in my shoulder and bicep from the rotator cuff being over used. This Set uses all muscles groups 5 days per week. Normally I would have never done that as I know that is a recipe for disaster. However I was not aware of this until the set arrived and I figured I would give it a shot just to see what the system was like. 3 Days per week you use heavy weights with the intention of increasing you weight as often as possible; as your muscle fibers allow. These are the muscle building/strength segments. Sometimes that may be twice in one month, it may be 4 times. The other 2 days per week the workouts focus on cardio and muscle endurance which means lighter weights approx 3 to 7 lbs max. You do all the same shoulder work, lunges, squats, bicep curls, ect that you do on the strength days but the theory is it's effective and safe because you are training different muscle fibers Fast Twitch vs Slow Twitch. However what I learned from my Orthopedist after my MRI was that regardless of what fibers you are working, the smaller muscle groups like the shoulder need a lot of rest in between lifting days to recover properly. Otherwise the fibers breakdown too rapidly and cannot repair themselves in time for the next workout. That results in tears. Luckily, I didn't have to have surgery, but did need 3 months of Phys Therapy and I still have problems with it 6 months later. The set is great, the outfits are fun, and the music is pretty good! I just know that from first hand experience that no matter how impecable your form is, this set is an injury waiting to happen! There are so many other excellent lifting DVDs on the market today, especially Cathe Friedrich, that you should save your money and body the risk. After this experience, I will no longer be purchasing BeachBody products. I own well over 200 fitness DVDs and but more each month but never will I invest in their systems again; it's not worth the risk!"

    "I normally do not do reviews but I have to say I love this set. My husband has the power90x but i just could not get into it. Chalene is great in this and I love doing these dvd's. The program is so easy to follow. This is my second month and I'm down one pant size and have not really changed my eating. I'm sure everyone reacts different to different programs but for me this is working and I'm watching the inches come off. I'm finally down to a size four and see nice defination so far. If there is a day where I feel like skipping I start to feel guilty then I put the DVD in hit play and within five minuteds I'm so happy I'm working out. I'm a mom of two and for me 30-40 min to workout is perfect."
