Little Britain USA is an American spinoff of the successful British BBC television series Little Britain. As in the British series, the show will focus on characters played by Matt Lucas and David Walliams and will feature many established characters such as Daffyd Thomas, Sebastian Love, Marjorie Dawes and Vicky Pollard but also includes new characters.

Simon Fuller (the man behind HBO and "American Idol") is understood to have been approached by the writers and stars of "Little Britain," Matt Lucas and David Walliams, to develop the show for a U.S. audience. According to a spokesman, Simon is a great fan of "Little Britain". - BBC News

Little Britain, Big Laughs!!

Little Britain USA is a different kind of program from the usual Little Britain. When I was first introduced to the show, I was a little confused--"it seems like it is just the same two guys doing the same bunch of characters and...oh, I see now! Different skits and stories!" Once I was into the second episode of Little Britain's Season (series) One and began to 'get it' finally, I went back, watched episode one and then was hooked thereafter. The characters are always hilarious, and David Walliams and Matt Lucas never cease to amaze me with their creations, writing, and comedic talents. All that to say: Be sure to introduce yourself to the actual British version as well.

Not litte Britain - more like little brain

I am a Brit in America, so I think I see both cultures pretty well. I love Little Britain - It is shocking but very very clever, it brutally, but intelligently breaks down all the British stereotypes. Not so this series - they forgot to be clever - all that's left is the crudity.

America got short sold

"I loved the UK version of Little Britain. I was a huge fan. So naturally I was excited to see what they would bring to us Americans. I was truly disappointed. I couldn't even fake a laugh. They let go of some very amusing characters from the UK version and added some corny new ones. Thankfully they kept Andy and Lou."

"I love this series;It's British humor at it's best. If you can't wait for a season 2, hop over to BBC America on Friday nights to catch "Little Britain". Perfect for the HBO persona "real,raw and to the point" comedy. I can't wait until "Little Britain USA" Season 2!"
