In October 1989, a huge meteor shower destroyed most of the town of Smallville, Kansas. This event brought Jonathan and Martha Kent what they have always wanted, a son they named Clark. In 2001, their son is becoming a man, who has two best friends, Pete Ross and Chloe Sullivan, and a crush on the hottest girl in school, Lana Lang, not to mention a budding friendship with future nemesis Lex Luthor. But his parents have been hiding a secret from him: they found him inside a spaceship when the meteor shower came. As he begins to develop his powers and discover more abilities that will soon transform him into Superman, Clark begins to take on his mantle as the Man of Steel...

Loved it

"If you like sci-fi & fantasy, action this is your baby. Great characters and story lines. Unexpected twists in the plot, keeps you hanging on for the next episode. Can't wait for Season seven's release."

A definite must buy.

"I feel like Smallville revamped itself during Season 8. It had a midseason hiccup back then. However, when Season 9 arrived, I was amazed and it kicked Smallville into a whole new level. I love this season. I love the commentary on the episodes Idol (love Erica Durance!) and Kandor (enjoyed Callum Blue). I was little disappointed in the deleted scenes. Also, I wish they had gag reels. The other extras was pretty good. The DVDs were also in great shape. I definitely recommend this item."

Finally, he's embracing becoming Superman

"It's great to see the storyline finally coming closer to his fate of becoming Superman. Just hoping that in Season 10 they will allow him to become Superman in a 2 hour final episode."

So good could not stop watching

"This was by far a awesome season the plot was amazing. They brought so many fantastic characters into the story. It is a must see for sure."
