Summary

The Simpsons is the ultimate (if very unorthodox) nuclear family. Homer, the lovable dufus father, stumbles apathetic ally through his family life and work at the local nuclear power plant. Marge, the overbearing but responsible mother, Bart, the 4th grade underachiever and nemesis to Springfield elementary's principal, Lisa, the brainy and responsible 8 year old, and Maggie, the oft-forgotten baby, round out the family. Based on a series of small cartoon sketches from the Tracy Ullman show, the Simpsons enjoy many wacky exploits in their hometown and beyond. Other characters include an incompetent lawyer, the tyrranical nuclear power plant owner, the too-perfect neighbors (the Flanders) of The Simpsons, and the less than perfect "Klown", Krusty. Great Simpsons Season

"For any die hard fan of the Simpsons this is a must own dvd set. As I see it, the first two seasons were great starting points for the series but lacked in quality and an overall slapstick comedic style. Not so on this set. The third season begins the classic style of the simpsons, with insanely stupid quotes from homer to barts famous eat my shorts. If your a fan of the classic simpsons style, this is the perfect place to start"

Hey, they have the interenet on computers now...",

This Simpsons are my favorite show of all time, and this season is no exception. My parents gave me this season for Christmas, and it's downright great. Like the previous 8 seasons, it's filled with celebrity guests (one of them happens to be U2), funny one-liners, and plenty of "D'ohs" from Homer. In this episode, we get to see Homer's beef with New York, Lisa finding an angel in a construction site (which turns out to be a publicity stunt), Homer entering the navy, and even Apu getting married (who eventually cheats on later in the series)!

Great for Simpsons Fanatics

"A great game for families or groups of friends who often find themselves quoting lines from "Simpsons" episodes - a difficult and quite thorough game that draws from the entire "Simpsons" series. For those, like me, who have seen only about half the episodes, it can be extremely challenging."
