Rare promotional tape for Walt Disney World

This great video is a promotional tape offered by the Walt Disney company for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Walt Disney. It is mainly promoting the four theme parks in Florida at Walt Disney World, and also has info on vacation planning and hotels. It is unique and is becoming a pricey collectors item, as it was not for sale anywhere. They made a very limited amount, and most were considered disposable as they arrive free in the mail to people on certain Disney mailing lists, such as the old Disney magazine. As I recall it is 30 minutes in length, could be longer. Wish I still had a copy.

Disney on ICE - 100 years of Magic

"My 3 year old was so scared of the noisy and crowded environment that we only stayed a few minutes. She wouldn't even look at the ice and really wanted to leave. Instead of forcing a tramatic experience on her, we left. I think the main reason is that we do not really 'do disney' in our household. We got these tickets as a gift. I immedietly thought that she was too young for this type of thing, but we went anyway. I know some young kids don't get scared, but I know my child is sensitive, so you have to really consider the heart of your children - not just go to soemthing that is Disney. Had she been really familiar with the characters, she might have been more able to sit through it. She was disappointed she didn't get to see the princess, but the sound, crowd and costumes really made her shake and ask to leave...so that's it. We probably wouldn't go to another until she is 7 or so."
